When you prefer to have someone you already know and trust overseeing your home care, consider Relative Care. By choosing a friend, relative, or other loved one to be paid to care for you, you remain in greater control of your home care experience.
Who can benefit from receiving Relative Care?
When you only need a few hours of in-home support per week, the Relative Care program can be the perfect gap-filler. This Medicaid-funded program pays a caregiver of your choice for up to 8.5 hours per week of in-home personal care.
Relative Care can help people who need assistance with their personal care remain healthy and safe in their homes.
Relative caregivers can offer help with a range of personal care tasks such as:
- bathing
- dressing
- grooming
- toileting
