Brain Injury
Since 1999, Andrea’s Angels Inc. has been providing quality home care services to those who have suffered traumatic or acquired brain injury throughout Colorado. We serve those 16 and older, helping them to regain physical, emotional, and social independence as they recover and adjust to a new normal following a traumatic or acquired brain injury.
At Andrea’s Angels, Inc. we understand that living with or caring for a loved one who has experienced a brain injury is challenging, which is why we offer specialized services designed to help our clients retain and rebuild their independence in the wake of an acquired or traumatic brain injury.
Our Trainers provide instruction and supervision in all daily living skills, assisting in developing, monitoring, reporting, and recording progress to individuals with an acquired or traumatic brain injury.
Our team of caregivers and trainers are committed to helping each individual achieve their unique goals, whether that means learning new skills, participating in community activities, or simply re‑establishing a sense of “normal”.
Andrea’s Angels empowers our clients to live at home instead of in a hospital or facility following a brain injury. We deliver personalized, heart-centered home care services inspired by the love of family. Our team of ‘True Angels’ are selected based on their character and warm nature to deliver our signature home care experience.

Our team pairs you with an experienced Independent Living Skills Trainer so you receive individualized, sensitive care that fits your lifestyle.
About Andrea’s Angels Inc. Brain Injury Services:
Andrea’s Angels works with Colorado’s ILST (Independent Living Skills Training) program to help our clients develop independence while meeting each individual’s unique needs.
We create a customized Plan of Care based on each client’s needs. Each plan may include support in:
- Self-care, including but not limited to basic personal hygiene
- Medication supervision and reminders
- Household management (paying bills, setting up appointments, maintenance needs)
- Time management skills training
- Safety awareness skill development and training
- Task completion skill development and training
- Communication skill building; (starting and ending conversations, staying on topic, eye contact, turn-taking)
- Socialization, including but not limited to acquiring and developing appropriate social norms, values, and skills
- Recreation, including leisure and community integration activities
- Sensory motor skill development
- Benefits coordination, including activities related to the coordination of Medicaid services
- Resource coordination, including activities related to coordination of community transportation, community meetings, neighborhood resources, and other available public and private resources
- Financial management, including activities related to the coordination of financial tasks such as paying bills, balancing accounts, and basic budgeting
- Self Advocacy
- Observing Infection Control Practices
