Independent Living Skill Training (ILST)

Independent Living Skill Training focuses on clients who have suffered a traumatic or acquired brain injury. They assist in teaching the skills necessary to live safely and independently. The staff that provide this service go through extensive training and all have prior experience with traumatic and/or acquired brain injuries.

We help establish independence by providing training in areas such as:


-Baseline skills (reading, writing, math, etc.)


-Personal care


-Decision making

-Money management

-Interpersonal skills

-Time management

-Resource locating


Care providers are not allowed to transport any client, anywhere, at anytime. They may accompany you on public transportation, such as a bus or a cab, or they may follow you in their own vehicle or meet you at your destination.
